Alissa: Chapter Twenty-Four

The bell boy carried Alissa’s suitcases into the room and gave her the room key.

“Please let me know if there is anything that I can do to help you.”, he told her.  “Anything at all!”, he repeated.

Thank you!”, Alissa told him and bolted the door behind him.

Sharlee was sleepy, so Alissa gave her a bath and put her to bed.  Alissa still hadn’t  regained her full strength and energy.  Just putting Sharlee to bed and getting settled in the room had worn her out.

She dressed for bed and then laid down beside Sharlee.

The tears that she couldn’t cry earlier threatened to spill over.  She forced them back and remembered Dale’s request to call him.  She stepped into the bathroom and placed the call.

Hello Dale, this is Alissa.  I’m at the Arlington hotel.”, she told him.

Alissa, I am so sorry that I hurt you!  Please come home and let me explain!”, Dale pleaded.

“No, Dale.  I don’t want to talk tonight.  Maybe we need some time apart.”, she said.

Alissa, please don’t do this.   You haven’t completely recovered from your surgery, and you’re pregnant with our child.  There is a lunatic that may still be after you.  You have to come home!”, he told her.

The tears started flowing from her eyes.  “From the time I was a child, I have looked after myself.  It was a mistake to believe that I could depend on anyone else.  It was a mistake to believe that someone could genuinely love me.  I won’t make that mistake again!  You broke my heart, Dale! “, she said as she hung up the phone.

Bryan hacked into the hospital computer files targeting the morgue entries for the date when he shot Alissa.  There were no records of the dispensation of Alissa’s body on that date nor any following dates.

She’s not dead!  They tricked me!”, he realized furiously.

He contacted some of his sources, and it didn’t take him long to find out the location of the hospital to which Alissa had been secretly flown.  He doubted that she was still there, but he was determined to find her.  He had never lost a mark, and he wouldn’t lose this one either!

Dale sat in a chair in the kitchen.  He felt totally depressed.   He was on his third beer.  “How could I have said those things to Alissa?  How could I have even thought them?”, he asked himself.

He wouldn’t blame her if she never forgave him.  He remembered the look in her eyes when he asked if Alex was the father.  The pain in her voice, when she told him that he had broken her heart.

Really, the things he had accused her of were unforgivable.  He had driven her away!  He couldn’t imagine Alex ever speaking to her that way.  Maybe she would be better off with him!

  1. Wow, I don’t even know what to say at this point..I hope the hitman doesn’t find her…maybe it’s good she left…can’t wait to see what’s next.

    • The hitman hasn’t given up yet!

Maybe Alissa was right about them needing some time apart.

I’m going to post another chapter this week
I hope everything is going smoothly for you! 🙂 You have a lot on your plate right now!

  2. It’s quite sad to see Dale and Alissa fighting.
The hitman scares me, now that he knows the secret. Dale needs to get back to Alissa before he finds her at the hotel!

  3. Back,Alissa’s life so far is just, terrible.People trying to kill her, people trying to kill her then marry her,her child taken away because of a MRS.LITTLER,people wanting to marry her anyway, she got drugged, and, shot when she was PREGNANT!!!!!!!!!! I know she has SOME good things in her life,i mean like, SHE IS DAUGHTER OF A CELEBRITY. but if you look at her ENTIRE LIFE you will see so much drama and tears, oh and blood, don’t forget blood.I hope she lives the rest of her life happy, with all her children with NO DRAMA and dies a happy death (not that dying is exactly HAPPY or FUN) just that she survives until old age comes in. THE MOST PEACEFUL WAY TO DIE is either don’t die, or, live a full life and die with your husband. I know they will die eventually, just i want them to die happy, and for them to have done everything they ever wanted to do. END P.s you make it like it’s not Sims, but a book, I LOVE that.

    • She has really had some bad times, but I think that the bad times made her appreciate the good times even more. She’s really mostly a happy person. She’s crazy about her husband, and he’s crazy about her. She loves her family and her career.

She definitely doesn’t have a perfect life, but I think it’d be sort of boring to read about a perfect life! LOL I know I’d get bored writing that kind of a story. 😀

She’s got a long way to go before she dies. It’s not a legacy story. I hope that one day I could do a legacy story and really stick with it, but so far I haven’t made it past the second generation with a legacy. 😦 I still have a lot planned for her and her family. 😀

Thanks for reading my story, Sims3girl! 🙂

  4. WOW!!! This chapter was so short yet…….. SOOO SAD😥

Dale and Alissa were and hopefully still ARE a good couple!!! It can’t end because of Alex!! I know that he didn’t want to hurt anyone and he was just expressing his feelings, but I can’t help but feel that he almost caused this……….which is WHY I am sooooooo glad that he is in the story right now! If he didn’t say those things the hit an could probably find her sooner!!😳 Although, dale still shouldn’t have reacted that way, and hopefully they will make up and hunt down this hitman and Betty and get rid of em once and for all!!!!!😂😎

In case you didn’t catch my drift…………

    Hitman and Betty=😵😲. Or, atleast………..😷

    (Evil laugh) MMWAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAA!!!!!!!!!! 😏
