Alissa: Chapter Sixty-Two

ADVISORY:  Adult situations and two words of profanity.

As soon as they entered the suite, Dale removed Alissa’s dress.  He looked at her beautiful, curvy body.  She was just as flawless as he remembered, truly a fantasy!  She wasn’t a dream though.  She was a real flesh and blood woman.  The woman he still loved.  Tears came to his eyes, surprising him as he was almost overcome with emotion.

At first she wondered what he was thinking as he looked her.  Then she saw how emotional he was.

Alissa wrapped her arms around him.  She knew that he had missed her as much as she had missed him.

“It’s okay, Dale!  Oh, I love you!”

“I love you too, Alissa!”

Dale picked her up and then carried her to the bedroom.   She helped him undress.   He gazed at her face as she gazed again at his.   Then his lips eagerly met hers.  His body was on fire with the craving that he felt for hers.  He could see that she was feeling the same way.  Even so, he was still gentle and loving with her.  He wanted to prolong this first time together in two years.

The contrast between the way he treated her while making love and the way Alex treated her brought tears to Alissa’s eyes.  Dale was considerate and passionate.   It had always made her even more passionate in their love making.   She knew that Alex loved her, but he just wasn’t Dale.  Her tears mixed with their kisses.

Dale knew that they were happy tears.  With each motion of his body as they made love, he stared into her eyes.   How could he ever forget her lovely brown eyes filled with love for him!

When he felt her reach the peak of pleasure that made his own even more satisfying.  He knew that he would never feel this ecstasy, this complete satisfaction in intimacy with any other woman.  Alissa was his missing half.  He wanted her back!

When Alex answered the phone, he was surprised to hear the seriousness in Stewart’s voice.

“Just tell me Stewart!  What’s wrong?”

Stewart told him that he had seen Alissa at the hotel with another man.

Alex didn’t believe that Alissa would cheat on him.  There was no way!

“You have to have misunderstood the situation.  Maybe she is working on a story.”

“There were no cameramen present and Alissa was all over him just like he was all over her.  I’m sorry, Alex, but they  couldn’t even keep their hands off of each other in the elevator.  There is no doubt in my mind as to what they did once they reached that hotel room!”

“Well, thanks for telling me, Stewart.  I know it wasn’t easy.”

“No, and don’t worry, Alex.  You know that I won’t mention it to anyone else.”  He gave Alex the room number.

“Thanks again!”

There was no way that Alex believed Alissa was cheating.  There had to be another explanation.

They had been together for almost three hours, but the time had flown by!  Alissa looked at the clock.

“Dale, I’m sorry, but I’ve got to get home!”

“Please stay, Alissa!”

Alissa looked at him.  No, she didn’t want to leave him!

“I don’t know what to tell Alex!”

“Tell him that you’re working on a story!”

I can’t lie to him, Dale!”

“I think that my experience would make a great story!”

“You’re right, but its a little too personal for me.  I can put it in my journal and use parts of it in my book!  Then it won’t be a lie!”

She called Alex and told him that she wouldn’t be home that night.  She was working on a story.  Every once in a while she did have to stay out all night for a story.

After they hung up, Alex felt very uncomfortable.

“Sharlee, order a pizza for you and your brother and sister.  Your mom is out on a story, and I have to go out for a while!”

“Okay, Alex.”

In between kisses and making love, Dale and Alissa talked.

“What are we going to do, Alissa?”

“I don’t know!”

Dale’s lips couldn’t remain away from hers for long.  He lowered her back down onto the bed.  Talking could wait.  His lips claimed hers again.

Then they heard loud knocking at the door to the suite.  Dale reluctantly left Alissa and went to answer it.  He looked at the man standing there.  Then it dawned on him who it must be.

“You’re Alex aren’t you?”

When Dale answered the door, Alex had felt a mixture of emotions.  He felt shock, happiness, panic and then anger.   Alissa was here with Dale!

“Dale!  Where the hell have you been?”

They went inside the suite and Dale briefly told Alex what had happened to him.

Alex looked at him, incredulous.  That sounded like a cock and bull story!

“Let me assure you that I will thoroughly check your story out!  So, if you’re lying then you’d better tell me now!”

Dale looked at Alex, not knowing what to make of him.  He felt no emotional connection to him nor did he feel any familiarity toward him.  “Well, I’m not worried.  Every word that I’ve said is true.”

Alissa recognized Alex’s raised voice and grabbed one of Dale’s shirts to slip on quickly.  Then she joined Dale and Alex.

Alex looked at her with pain in his eyes.

Alissa saw the pain and felt sorry that she had hurt him.

“I’m sorry, Alex!  I didn’t want to hurt you!”

“How long has this been going on?”

“We just reunited today!’

“Reunited!”  Alex repeated.  “Get dressed now, Alissa.  We’re going home!”   He was furious!

“Alex… I!” Her voice trailed off as she looked from one to the other of them.

The confusion and hurt look in her eyes made Dale wish momentarily that he had not come back.  Then he remembered that he had found her sobbing in the park because she missed him so much.  He knew that he had made the right decision by finding her.  Maybe he could make it easier for her.

“Alissa, could you please excuse Alex and me for a little while?  We need to talk.”

She looked at him for a few moments and then returned to the bedroom.

“Alex this is hurting Alissa.  She feels like she is being pulled in two directions because she doesn’t want to hurt either one of us.”

“Well, its going to be impossible for one of us to not be hurt!  This time, its not going to be me!”  Alex responded angrily.

“When I first talked with Alissa today, she was in a park.  She was sitting alone on a bench sobbing so deeply that she didn’t even notice when I sat down beside her.   She was crying because of  the pain she still felt from losing me.  She missed me that much.”

Although he was sorry for Alissa’s pain, Dale was happy that she had missed him so strongly; and that she had loved him and still did.

He continued.  “She hasn’t told you because she doesn’t want to hurt you!”

“So what, you think that because you told me that, I am going to just hand Alissa over to you now?   To be honest, I don’t care.  Of course I know she misses you, but that doesn’t mean that she isn’t happy with me!  I make her happier than you ever did.  I satisfy her in ways you never could.  She is safe with me!  With you she was abducted, shot by a hitman and raped by two men!  You couldn’t protect her.  I  do!  Over the years I have had to pick up the pieces because you couldn’t.”

Dale just looked at him astonished, and then Alex continued.

“I stepped aside once, but this time I’m not doing it!  Like you loved to tell me, I’m telling you now.  Alissa is my wife, and you had better stay away from her!  I don’t care where you go.  You can go to hell for all I care.  You died two years ago.  You should have stayed dead!”

The more he looked at Dale the angrier he became.

He tried to punch Dale and Dale surprised him by quickly avoiding his fist.

Alissa came back out of the bedroom.  She was dressed.

“Let’s go, Alissa!”

She decided it’d be best to go with him.  She looked back at Dale as she preceded Alex through the door.  Surprisingly Alissa and Alex didn’t talk on the way home.

When she entered the house, Alissa went straight to the master bedroom and took a shower.  Then she went to talk with the children.   They were playing arcade games.

“Do you want to play with us, Mom?”

“Yeah, why don’t you?  We just started!”  Cara agreed.

Sharlee looked at her Mom closely.  She looked different.  She looked troubled, but she didn’t look sad anymore!  Sharlee had hoped that after marrying Alex her mother would be happy like she used to be, but although happier, there was still often a look of sadness in her eyes.

“I hate to interrupt your game, but I need to talk with you!”

“What is it Mom?”

She knew that she needed to tell them about Dale, but maybe she should wait until things were settled.

“On second thought, it can wait.   Go back to your game.”

They played for a while longer and then Alissa got them settled in bed for the night.

Alex was on the bed when she returned to the master bedroom.  He had gone to his office as soon as they had arrived home.

She sat down beside him.

“I verified his story.  It is true.  He has been in Egypt all of this time, but not alone.  He had a girlfriend while he was living there.  I bet he didn’t tell you about her!”

“He told me all about her, and you know what, Alex?  I am glad that he had someone who cared about him!”

“Alissa, you belong with me.  You’re my wife now!”

Alissa heard the pain in his voice, and she hurt for him too.   Maybe he was right!  It wasn’t his fault the way that things had gone.  He’d always been there for her no matter what!

“Alright, Alex!”

He moved closer to her and pulled her to him for a kiss.

“I’m tired tonight.  Let’s go to sleep.”  She told him.

They lay down in the bed.  After about an hour, Alissa was trying to hold back sobs.  Alex wasn’t asleep either, and he knew.  Their relationship would never again be as it was before Dale’s return.

“It’s not going to work.  You still want him!”

“I am so very sorry, Alex.  I never wanted to hurt you.  I love you!”

“I know that you do!”

He got up from the bed and packed  a suitcase.

“Let me know what you decide to do about the house.  I’m going to Stewart’s.”

He got dressed and then he left the house.

  1. I didn’t expect Alex to just leave her like that. I thought for sure he would stay and convince her that he was the better man. He never seemed to be concerned for her feelings before so this is shocking that he would walk away.

I don’t trust it. I think he’s going to do something to try and keep Alissa and Dale apart. That was just too easy.

Wait until the kids find out their dad is alive. That is going to be the best family reunion ever. On the downside, the relationship with her in-laws will never be the same. She has already caused a wedge between the brothers and she sorta did just cheat on Alex. None of this is going to look good in their eyes.

    • Jaz,
He left that night, but you’re right, that doesn’t mean he’s accepting it. He hasn’t shown much concern for her feelings, and it isn’t likely that he’ll start now! You’ll see more in Chapter Sixty-Four.

You might be right about her in-laws! They do blame Alissa for Alex and Dale’s feelings towards each other. Their mother especially! More on that too coming up!

If I were Alissa, I don’t know if I would want to have anything else to do with them after the way they behaved. They may not have been pleased, but it wasn’t their choice. The awful things her mother-in-law said are not easily forgiven!

      Thanks for reading, Jaz! 🙂

  2. Wow, not sure how I missed this update!

First off, I love that Dale and Alissa are together again. It just doesn’t seem right to have her with Alex. They are so in love and I don’t think Alissa should have any choosing to do. He is her soul mate, they have 3 children together, and that is how it is.

Secondly, Alex is a pig. I can’t believe how heartless he is towards his brother. And trying to make him look bad by saying that he had lived with another woman, that was just low. I’m glad Dale told her about it already. I think Alex should go run off with the crazy Egypt lady and get out of the story! 😛

I am still in love with this story, and I can’t wait to see how everything plays out.

    • I forgot to post it on Facebook! So forgetful lately!

You know I had to have them back together! I just love them as a couple. 🙂

OH, Alex being a pig just made me remember something I need to ask you! LOL
      Alex has changed!

I’m so glad you still love the story, Kate! I hope you continue to enjoy it!

I’ll post another update sometime this week! 🙂

  3. Wow! I haven’t had internet access for quite awhile, so I haven’t been able to keep up with the story, and holy smokes SO much has happened since the last chapter I read! It actually took me a bit to find where I left off. Haha! (somewhere not long after Alissa was attacked). I really missed this story, I could’t wait to get back to it, and I’m only disappointed I’ve run out of chapters to read! Haha. I was really getting into it. 🙂 As usual, never a dull moment in the life of Alissa!

Sharlee looks so much like her mother. I can’t wait to see how the twins age up. 🙂 Looks like Cara may have a love triangle of her own going on in the future! 😉

I was actually surprised that Alex decided to bow out. Given that’s not normally his style, I’m a bit suspicious there. He must be plotting something… I can only imagine if Alissa were to be pregnant with his child, shit would hit the fan even more.

As always, amazing AMAZING story. I’m always excited for the next update 😀

Btw, what skin do you use on your sims?

    • Hi Caz,

I’m glad you got your internet back! I hate when I’m without it!
Alex has gone for now, but that doesn’t mean he’s given up yet.
His baby would add another complication!

Thanks so much, Caz! I’m glad you’re continuing to enjoy the story. 🙂
I’ve started another one too. It is called Deceived. Here is a link if you want to check it out.
I’m working on it today. I’ve actually had another chapter ready to post for the last few days, but I have to set up a new word and lots for the story.
      Then I’ll update Alissa.

I use Peggy’s skin. So far, I like it the best!

  4. Did NOT expect Alex to be the bigger man. Well done to him. Alissa was made for Dale, and Alex was never going to be enough. Now… who is really married to her? Or is she married to both? 😐

  6. DALE! DALE! DALE! I can’t believe Alex actually just left, it’s not like him to go down without a fight! I think he is planning something to separate dale and Alissa! That was just too easy! Also, there is the in laws thing! Idk how they’ll react to this! They will be shocked and happy that their son isn’t DEAD, bit then the brother rivalry is back!! I mean Alissa did just kind cheat on Alex, but it doesn’t really count because it was sale, and if he didn’t supposedly DIE then they would have been a happy married couple! NO Alex drama! JUST THE WAY IT SHOULD BE!!

She needs to stop being afraid that she is gonna hurt someone because either way she will, she needs to do what is best for her and what SHE wants!

    • You’re right about Alex! He doesn’t give up easily.

Yeah, I guess in a way she did cheat, but since Dale was never dead, then I thought of it as her cheating on Dale by being with Alex. 😉

Legally though, it is a mess for them. 😀

  7. That bull Alex was telling about how he treated her better, made her happier, and how everything that happened to her was Dale’s fault, are all lies! Alex, I’m frankly glad that Dale is alive and that Alissa cheated on you. You wanted her for so long, yet you treat her like she can’t make her own decisions.

And Alissa needs to stop telling Alex that she loves him, when we all know she loves Dale. It’s just wrong to say you love someone when you don’t really know of who you do really love.

    Great story! I love it!

    • In Alex’s mind he believes the things that he told Dale. It’s wrong, but he believes it’s true. 😦

Alissa does think that she loves Alex. It’s not as strong as the love that she has for Dale though. She’ll have a better understanding of her true feelings for Alex in the next few chapters.

Because of the decisions that Alissa is making now, it’s hard to believe that she’s ever going to become more mature, but eventually she will! 😀

I know I’d feel the same exasperation with Alissa that you’re feeling, and I’m the one who wrote it! Your comments are making me smile because I’d think the same way! LOL
